So, I just recently after YEARS heard back from someone from my past and due to a flagged removal of my freedom of speech, I went back to the posts that I had made here (blow) about them during that time of my life.
What a terrible horrible person they were to me. A recent message from them to me was to apologize for such disgusting behavior back then.
Many times in here below post I had said how they will “never “ realize certain things or prob never see certain things; well, they did and they found me and apologized YEARS and YEARS later!
I’m posting this as a reminder that regardless of what one is going thru, anything is possible, but in retrospect I’m so HAPPY I LEFT them AND their bad behavior, exactly when I did.
(The most messed up part is that me talking about these abuse PERPETRATED AGAINST ME was flagged as A WARNING by some irresponsible AI metric. Because any ACTUAL person reading my posts would know that I broke and break no rules nor spoke against anyone, but was blogging about my OWN experience on MY own blog.
How many times do people in abusive relationships though hope that the original person will “come back” and so they foolishly stay where they are mistreated or in a space of pain and mental anguish inflicted on them?
I love seeing the growth I experienced even back then each day as I went No Contact and progressed from day 1 of missing them and hanging in while being mistreated to realizing; to day 30 something hey, I don’t need or deserve this and I’m not gonna put up with it. Realizing (even tho I missed them) this isn’t who I am anymore and I won’t ever allow this type of speech toward me anymore or allow someone else to make me feel this way. 👏🏻🙌🏻💪🏻
It IS all GOD who gave me that strength to walk and bible wisdom to walk away and doing CoDA.org to realize I don’t need to stay anywhere I’m treated poorly. There is ALWAYS better for me I need only choose it.
I left them and because I did, one day they noticed. One day, they apologized.
I am not mad at them. I don’t have any pain anymore from being with them nor choose to revenge on what they did. I forgave and moved forward. I have no desire to reopen communications as I am a work in progress until I die.
I graciously accepted it and left them where they and such treatment belong; in the past.
