So in order to keep things in perspective I am admonished to remember the bad, because though there may have been bright spots in the relationship, the truth is things changed and its important to remember they did.

He hated your friends.

The bad news is you have been kidding yourself. The good news is somewhere inside you already knew that. No one wants to admit "I am in love with an asshole" Even if he was great, being great
does not mean that he was great for YOU.
You will find the freedom to kick this in the ass and let go.
